Availability Frozen onion products are supplied year-round. Fresh harvest and main processing season typically occurs in spring (peak Mar–Jun); onions are peeled, cut to specification and IQF-frozen or packaged according to customer requirements.
Description & Features High-quality Egyptian onions processed to IQF standards — preserved flavor, color and texture. Suitable for retail frozen, foodservice, industrial processing and ready-meal applications.
Processing & Handling Sorting, grading, peeling (mechanical/manual), optional blanching, slicing/dicing, dewatering and IQF freezing under hygienic conditions. Packed and stored under continuous cold-chain; odor-control packaging recommended for retail packs.
Storage & Shelf Life Store at ≤ -18°C. Typical shelf life 12–24 months depending on packaging and cold-chain integrity.
Certifications HACCP, ISO 22000 available; GlobalGAP / organic upon request. Phytosanitary certificates, COA and lab reports provided for export when required.
