Availability Frozen garlic products are supplied year-round. Fresh garlic harvest typically occurs in spring/early summer (varies by region); garlic is processed (peeling, optional blanch, mincing) and IQF-frozen or packed to customer specification immediately after processing.
Description & Features High-quality Egyptian garlic offered as peeled IQF cloves, minced, or paste. Preserved aroma and flavor through rapid processing and IQF freezing. Suitable for retail frozen, foodservice, industrial processing, and ready-meal applications.
Processing & Handling Sorting, grading, peeling (mechanical/manual), optional blanching, mincing/crushing/pureeing (if requested), dewatering, and IQF freezing under hygienic conditions. Odor control measures in packaging recommended. Packed and stored under continuous cold-chain.
Storage & Shelf Life Store at ≤ -18°C. Typical shelf life 12–24 months depending on packaging and cold-chain integrity. For paste products, follow recommended shelf-life on pack (aseptic packs may extend shelf-life).
Certifications HACCP, ISO 22000 available; GlobalGAP / organic upon request. Phytosanitary certificates, COA, microbiological and pesticide reports provided for export when required.
