Availability Frozen okra products are supplied year-round. Fresh okra harvest typically occurs in late spring and summer (May–Aug); product is processed (washing, trimming, blanching per spec) and IQF-frozen immediately after processing.
Description & Features Egyptian okra processed to IQF standards — retained color, texture and flavor. Low moisture surface after dewatering; suitable for retail frozen, foodservice and industrial mixes.
Processing & Handling Sorting, washing, trimming, blanching (time/temperature controlled), cooling, dewatering, cutting (if requested), IQF freezing and hygienic packing. Rapid processing and temperature control preserve quality.
Storage & Shelf Life Store at ≤ -18°C. Typical shelf life 12–24 months depending on packaging and cold-chain integrity.
Certifications HACCP, ISO 22000 available; GlobalGAP / organic upon request. Phytosanitary certificates, COA and lab reports provided for export when required.
Marketing Note Private label, custom cuts and bespoke pack formats available. Samples, COA and traceability documentation provided upon request for international buyers. Recommended to use odor-sealed inner packaging for retail and transport.
