Availability Frozen sweet corn products are supplied year-round. Fresh sweet corn harvest and processing season typically occurs from late spring to early autumn (peak May–Oct); product is blanched and IQF-frozen immediately after processing to preserve color, sweetness and texture.
Description & Features Premium Egyptian sweet corn — bright color, high sugar content (Brix), and tender kernels. Processed with rapid blanching and IQF to retain natural sweetness and texture. Suitable for retail frozen, foodservice, mixed vegetable blends and industrial use.
Processing & Handling Harvesting, husking, kernel cut-off or creaming, blanching (time/temperature specific), cooling, dewatering, IQF freezing, and hygienic packing. Cold-chain maintained at all stages to ensure product integrity.
Storage & Shelf Life Store at ≤ -18°C. Typical frozen shelf life 12–24 months depending on packaging and cold-chain integrity.
Certifications HACCP, ISO 22000 available; GlobalGAP / organic upon request. Phytosanitary certificates, COA and lab reports provided for export when required.
